Fabulous finds

Although the last few months have been crazy, I’m trying to start focusing more on the positive and not so much on the negative. The stress is making me crazy and tired and I am over it. Today I only had to work my librarian job so I spent the rest of the day (after a 1 ½ hour therapy session for my knee – getting much better!!!) with my fabulous mommy. We met up at the local mall, shopped a bit, shared some lunch and just relaxed. She was on the hunt for some saucy shoes for the BFF’s wedding and I was just out to score some bargains. My top find today was a tee from the Gap’s Inspired (RED) collection. I first saw the shirt earlier in the week when the hubby and I stopped by to browse, but held out because I wasn’t sure if I really wanted it. But it all worked out though as today it was an extra 25% off!! Yay for shopping deals! (If you haven’t figured out, shopping really relaxes me and makes me smile).

As you can see, the shirt is a simple grey but with a fun high heel/rainbow design on it. I absolutely love shoes so obviously the design was enticing but it gets better. The designer is a Swedish artist named KARI, just like me. I know it’s silly but I felt the kinship and had to have the shirt. I can’t wait to have some fabulous spot to rock it out. I also scored some sweet deals on a few basic shirts, some adorable flats (in a subtle animal print) and a cute dress. In total, I think I spent less than $50. It was so nice to just relax and enjoy my mom’s company.
Looking forward to more shopping (or more browsing) fun this weekend when my sassy sister starts the search for her perfect wedding gown. And yes, that does mean more bridesmaid dresses for me!! But this time, I’m feeling pretty confident; it won’t be as stressful as I’ve already tried on about 100 dresses! What’s a few more! Have a fabulous Friday!
