So I know I vowed to update this a little more often but some how time has once again slipped away from me. It's been a busy few weeks filled with birthday fun and work craziness. But I'm back and am going to try to be more regular when it comes to posts! Tonight was one of my favorite nights of the month -- book group night. Although I no longer work at the local public library, I have volunteered to continue the group. This month we read The Awakening by Kate Chopin. I had never read this classic and was definately a fan. One of my favorite parts of doing the book group is finding fabulous foods that somehow tie into the novel. This month we had peanut butter bon bons and decadent silver and gold cake with caramel icing. Yummy! I'm always interested in learning about new great books for discussion or what other people do to make their group fabulous. Please share!
